By now you have heard of Shadow Work, an intense dive into your intense feelings, or unrecognized power, negative feelings, extreme hurts and underlying fears which seemingly stopping you from reaching your destiny. I mean this is life changing work, think of something you wish to work with, something that has stayed with you but doesn’t feel closed, or alternatively on occasion just pops up unexpected. Now think of that past version of yourself where you first remember this experience or memory, welcome it to seat with you. Now begin a conversation with that old self, what may be known as the inner child.

This Shadow could have been born in a past life or maybe in this childhood, or first life experiences that just didn’t go right. This may create a blockage and may very well affect your chakras in this current life experienced, causing physical and mental illness. It obviously needs healing and integration.

Tamare is trained in traditional Ojibway Healing Circle. This method of healing is a humbling opportunity with teachings of unconditional love and deeply connecting you to your heart. Allowing for the truth and compassionate guidance and understanding.

We will look at what we project or projections.

What do you dislike ? Do you have emotional triggers? Do you have repeating patterns in particular with relationships.

Are you judgmental, or fearful? Have you denied your gifts? Than this is for you, join me!

Wear comfortable casual clothing it might get glue or water paint on them. Clean face we will be putting a Vaseline base on your skin as your actual face will be used to form the mask. We will use an old paper mâché technique on the first day, choosing a partner, each of us helping the other. This is a fun opportunity to trust and have a lot of of good giggles. We will dive into our feelings and fears in a traditional healing circle. This will help us integrate these parts of ourselves. As we shine light on these issues we shrink it, learning to accept ourselves as we are.

The following week we will cut & paint the mask. Again we will hold another healing circle to discuss the experience as we begin the process of letting go.

Finally we will decorate the mask, afterwards we will take the mask into a final healing circle in order to integrate our shadows with our light!

13 Moons & Red Moon Teachings

Many indigenous people seen the moons as a reminder of what was going on around them. Specifically what was going on with nature. With that they would adjust themselves accordingly. Doing so promoted going with the flow of nature ultimately this enabled for an easy adjustment to changes that climate forced upon us.

There are a number of unique names for each full moon. In this workshop we will explore the different names to understand the energy each moon offers to the culture living in it! We will investigate which of the moons are aligned personally to you and your sign. And most importantly how that will affect you and how to use it for the best possible outcome.

Many of the grandmothers of indigenous cultures carried the teachings of the moons to their people, creating shields, rituals, ceremonies, events and healings to honour the times for which they where intended. Here we will learn about this in order to strengthen our families and communities.

Discussion on Blue moons, Harvest Moons, Blood Moons, Eclipsing Moons, waning n waxing moons will be explored for purpose of understanding and recognizing behavior in people and animals.

Tea Leaf Reading

Also called Tasseomancy, Tasseography or Tassology is a divination or fortune-telling method that interprets patterns in tea leaves, coffee grounds, wine sediments, wax, lead and other molten substances. This was first seen in the Medieval times and one of the oldest forms of divining. Eventually by the 1700’s tea leaf reading took off. This divination attempts to gain insight into the natural world through intuitive interpretation of symbols seen in the leaves and incorporating that with synchronistic events.

After a cup of tea has been poured, using loose leaves without using a tea strainer, the reader requests you the querent to consider any questions or wishes turning the cup clockwise three times on the saucer. Then to drink the tea off, occasionally swirling the cup. Once the tea is almost done the cup is turned upside down on the saucer and any remaining liquid drained off into the saucer.

The reader now looks for any patterns, shapes or letters in the leaves. These are then interpreted intuitively and using a standard system of symbolism and typical methods of placement which refer to timing of the said events. It is traditional to read a cup from the present to the future by starting along the rim at the handle of the cup and following the symbols downward in a spiral manner, until the bottom is reached, which symbolizes the far future.

Dream Interpretation

In most ancient societies, such as those of Egypt and Greece, dreaming was considered a supernatural means of communication and divine intervention, these message could be interpreted by people with these spiritual powers.

In modern times, various schools of psychology have offered theories on the meaning and purpose of the dreamtime. Most people appear to interpret dream content according to the Freudian theory of dreams, however it was my studies of Carl Yung that I first learned about the power of dreaming which made me a believer. Most dreams are either dreams sorting out day to day issues or if you are lucky you may get a premonition of things yet to come. Most people believe that “their dreams reveal meaningful hidden truths, providing them with meaningful insight into their unconscious beliefs and desires.

Shaman’s Drum Making

Its time to create, birth and feast your own sacred shaman’s drum, in this powerful drum making workshop! These drums have the Shoshone Native American style with Dream Catcher Webbing too, if you so desire, as these drums help us to create and catch our dreams! they will also assist us to help others with their dreams!

The drum has long been associated to our heart beat, which it is said that by playing them we align ourselves to our heartbeat, to our authentic inner being. They are representative to the mother and our feminine side as well the mallet/drumstick associated to the father and our male side! It has been used to assist with anger and sadness! It has been known to heal illness of all kinds, and emotional issues among-st the tribes, clans and communities! There are many legends from various native, Celtic, Asian and African tribes who are the originators of the Shaman’s Drum as it is a global medicine tool used by all aboriginal and Indigenous people!

Its a 2 day workshop with a week apart

During the making of the sacred drum, messages will come through which we will discuss as each drum is individual like a child and have their own personalities, each often carry messages for the creator! Traditional teachings will be given, the many legends will be shared in stories. A traditional feast will follow on the last day where we each bring a feast food to the ceremony, where we awaken the drum and sing it to life!

Handfastings

I’m Tamare White-Wolf, over the many years of Paganfest which was started in 2008, where we recreated the “Great Wedding Rite” at the Beltaine Sabbat, I have co-facilitate Handfasting ceremonies. There have been many, that chose to take the next step of their love and relationship, into a natural law commitment. These experiences lead me to be fully and legally Ordained as a Minister of Weddings, Births & Memorials in the Meta-Physical denomination.

Example of a Handfasting Ceremony!

Officiant: Know now before you go further, that since your lives have crossed in this life you have formed ties between each other. As you seek to enter this state of matrimony you should strive to make real, the ideals which give meaning to both this ceremony and the institution of marriage. With full awareness, know that within this circle you are not only declaring your intent to be handfasted before your friends and family, but you speak that intent also to your creative higher powers.
The promises made today and the ties that are bound here greatly strengthen your union; they will cross the years and lives of each soul’s growth. Do you still seek to enter this ceremony?
